Also: I don't tell anyone about hunting. The only way people find out is if they google my name, which makes for an awkward conversation about my closet lifestyle. I hunt every single day (mostly), yet nobody knows. If I shot a 200, still nobody would know. I go to a school where it is extremely taboo. Sometimes it's annoying to look over my shoulder at what the outside world sees. On a happier note, my deer scored out at 129. Here's the problem. You'll have to message Fitz and see what he says about the pics. They allowed a guy a couple years ago to enter a rotten head so I'd think you'd be good to go.
I dont think they will count it for points. I know sometimes under bad circumstances we rush but the rules are the rules and they have never changed. Fitz will say since we already had this happen this year and talked about it how can we do it again.
It's okay, it'll work out or it won't, I doubt it's the end of the world one way or another. Just go kill a bigger one, lol. It seems silly to me that retakes with the bow wouldn't be acceptable but that's up to the powers that be.

I'll be out on one of my public land sets in the morning. Haven't been able to put a stand up on private yet but hopefully Sunday. So Shane...what's the conclusion on the buck pics? Did you talk to Fitz and retake the pics or what's going on with it.
Ok guys I will be hunting Sunday and Monday both AM and PM or if I feel like it I might do all day. I’ll be pulling my cards and will keep live from the stand updated.
I finally got around to printing off my KS and MO permits this evening. $140 for Non resident tenant KS buck and doe and free landowner tags in MO, two any-deer and two antlerless. Two bucks can be taken but only two combined archery and firearms. Down to 50F tonight, high of 80 tomorrow and Monday...Tuesday a high of 60F! Things are looking better for some stand time and to water some ground with essence of deer. I also pulled the old Carbon Element out of her case this evening and threw a few shots downrange at my block. Everything seemed to be in order and on target...first shot was dead center at 20yds then I placed four each dead in the corner targets and same at 30. Should be good there if the deer cooperate.
