Nice bucks boys! Trail cams aren't showing as many yet on one farm. The other has a few.

 

Awesome bucks everyone. Hope you guys can take some of them down. And yes, I'll get into the score card and enter a date and time.

 

Post is fixed. PM'd Fitz. Just not with it this year, except for putting arrows in deer.

 

this is my target starting next Saturday buddy not a huge buck but he's a day walker and very consistent by my stand so I might be putting some buck points on the board early hopefully

# 1 and 2 are still showing up on camera. Mostly at night since they shed. #1 increased his range since shedding and is on camera all over the farm.

 

Went out to my opening day spot yesterday. It has white oaks on a west facing hill about a 1/4 mile north of the river. A slight breeze came through a it sounded like it was raining. Acorns like crazy, but very few on the ground. Always a good location to watch a dozen does go through. Hot spot when the rut kicks in.

 

Team 15 is quite a worry thus far. But we can do it for sure.

 

Not really, not at this point at least. It's going to take way more than two big bucks to win the contest.

 

Oh no worry at all. Just wait till all our seasons start

Both of mine have started but I'm tied up with work projects and it's been ~90f every day.

 

Oh yeah I'm kind of glad mine hasn't started yet, it's been 90 degrees here too. I'm gonna be heading out to stand every time in my boxers for sure. October 1st can't come soon enough still though. Seen a few deer in early antlerless though, so that was cool. Lots of corn up around here

Not this weekend but I'm off for 10 days now and I plan on hunting Wednesday-Sunday with the cold weather coming in. I will be doing both AM and PM hunts or maybe full day if I'm not to tired. My main hunting is a hr drive so all I do is take a nap in the car.

 

Went and sat on a corn piece yesterday with my rifle looking for a bear. No archery bow in VT until Oct 7 and I won't be back to NJ until the 18th or 19th. So for me, I'm splitting wood!!!

 

Cold front coming threw on Thursday here in Ohio right in time for the Saturday opening day which I will be in the stand!!!!!!!!!
