What a novel concept, concerned about backlash.

MO season opened yesterday but no hunting for me in the immediate future. It's 86 here this afternoon and I'm picking pumpkins and have been removing brush from the ranch. Supposed to rain the next couple of days so maybe I'll get a break. Not supposed to cool off though for another week and a half.
I always hated that they changed the season to Sept 15th here, it's almost always too hot. They used to open Oct 15th and that was just about right, IMHO.

Hey Vermont, you need a time and date posted in your score entry. Mods pasted a note at the top of your post in the score card.

Got some good video of a nice would-be 8 making some scrapes this morning. Unfortunately, he busted off all but one point it looked like from his left side so he a 5 now.

The temp hit 94 here today so I didn't go. Tomorrow is 68 in the am with a chance of rain all day and cloudy getting to a high of 80 but dropping down to 73 by sunset. So I am going to be in the stand tomorrow. If I am not to hot and tiered I will do a all day sit.

Just two weeks away. I'm So excited for the exhaustion. I am going to be unbelievably stressed. Stupid homework is going to be terrible this year. I'm a junior and taking 4 AP classes as well as hunting
Every day, which is tough. It was last year too. Now throw in a PETA girlfriend and that's a recipe for very little sleep. But I couldn't be more excited. Feels like it's time to grind out the fall

Sorry guys spent about 3hrs looking and nothing. The rain washed any traces away. I did jump a nice buck about 40yds from another of my stands while I was searching. I am going to go dry my clothes and hunt another property this afternoon the rain has stopped for about 2hrs now.

That sucks Englishman. Where was the hit and what was the situation? How far did you track and what was her reaction etc.

Regardless that's just part of bowhunting sometimes which is unfortunate. Just gotta hop back on that horse and keep going.
    Good luck

I agree to an extent. There is a point where the effort become futile, regardless of the actual time spent looking. It's very situational . Sometimes you do all you can and that's it.
