I was just thinking that. Dandy buck Tom. I remember when that happened in the live from the stand thread. Good stuff. Pulled cards yesterday evening and no antlers. But it seems that the does come and then the bucks will be here when the time is right

Ha, that farm is so grown up it's unbelievable. I spent over a month with a high track D6T on that place clearing hedge, locust and cedars...about 140 acres or so (still didn't get it all). It was all scattered to solid brush and serecia lespadeeza. After taking off the brush and with all 2017's rain, there is everything from native grass to sunflower and a million other species in between on that place and the serecia is thicker than ever too. I'm mowing with a 200hp 4x4 and a 15' wingfold 2615L Bushog and it's all the tractor wants to mow through that sh*t in 4th gear at 4-5mph. I was on top of that buck before either of us knew WTF was going on.

All the brush behind the equipment is gone plus there is another 100 acres behind me that I cleared off. The buck I jumped up yesterday was directly on the other side and over the hill of where this dozer was sitting when the pic was taken back in Jan. We own all the ground you can see in this pic all the way back to the far brush line in the background. That brown grass way over behind the dozer and truck is 120 acre crp field of native grass.

Lone wolf climber just came in. Kind of excited to use it this season. Anyone else use a climber?

Used a LW Alpha for about 8 years now. Best stand I've ever used. Very spartan but can still sit it all morning or evening. Take my Ol' man Vision for the all day hunts.

I got a summit viper, and like it. My brother had a lw climber and it was nice. Packs awesome, light but I felt like I was to big for it. Definitely a good choice. I saw hawk has a climber out that looks sweet. I have been using their helium hang on a helium sticks and they are nice.
