That's just bad luck mike! I did have to turn around about two hours from Lansing on my way to the airport once from Nebraska and then drive back to Chicago to catch a different flight cuz my sister missed the one out of Lansing. That was a mess. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Yeah I was expecting just a monster bass when I was reeling it in cuz I didn't know there was pike in there but apparently there was. Never caught a muskie though, only seen people catch em before Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

Well friends i might be getting my first or if county hunting spot! I know it's not out of state like you big timers lol but if I get this it will take my bag limit from 3 to 6. So more deer more points and more meat for the freezer. So I'm sitting very blessed I've got two great properties and waiting to hear on two more!!! Quick question for you guys I have a 300 acre woods I have permission for but there is about 5 gun hunters and one bow hunter already in there and the lady said she will show me where to put my stand... worth it? Mike4christ
GOT IT!!!! I got permission for my first swamp loli have permission for the field tree line and the swamp up by the top portion of the picture Mike4christ
Honestly I'd be really turned off by someone telling me where to put my stand. My first reaction would be to tell them where to put their hunting spot. BUT... You never know without checking it out. My temper is oft too quick, if I was short of hunting spots...I think it would be well worth a look. If ya don't like it then you don't have to hunt there.
I've been bustin my hump trying to mow off a farm I cleared the brush off of the old pastures back in January. It got wet here then crop season got here so I'm just now getting back around to refurbishing those pastures to use. Well while mowing 6' tall weeds yesterday I jumped up a really really nice buck that was bedded next to a windrow of dozed out brush. Not a monster but looked to be a nice 150+ ten point best I could see. then I got pics of these on the same farm. Theres two or three more there that I know of.
I knew you were sandbagging........I hide all my big bucks in an overgrown field, next to a brush pile.
