Happy holidays gents, I'll give it another go around next weekend. Between work and the flu I'm at a stand still for any fun these next couple days! Mother nature is drunk in the Midwest still, bringing 60 degree days for Christmas. Few more weeks left and it's waiting til October again:bigcry:

Was out yesterday. No deer. It was too warm. Almost 60 degrees, I was in my early season gear. I hope to make it out next weekend....maybe.

I didn't have any luck this weekend in Ohio but my 10 year old granddaughter did. She double lunged this buck at 25 yards. IMG_1215.JPG

Heck yeah man! Congrats to her!

I've still been hittting the tree on and off for that second buck tag punched to no avail. Probably only have a two or three more sits in me here closing out the season.

This was her 3rd buck, but first one for Ohio. I started taking her hunting with the crossbow at age 7. I use the Caldwell Deadshot and she bullseyes the targets all the time. She took her first buck at the age of 7 and actually hit the top of the heart. I told my wife, I wish I was as good a shot as she is.

I will be headed back to Ohio this weekend. It is their 4 day Muzzleloader season beginning on Saturday. I will be taking my crossbow and my Encore to the deer stand. Hopefully the 10 point that has been occasionally showing up will do so in daylight this weekend. Wish me Luck!

Going out for one last sit tonight. Bow season ends for most of Wisconsin today. Haven't had any shooters on cam since gun season but might take one last doe tonight if one shows up.

As I said in the final team update message....it has been a pleasure and a blast of a competition and season fellas. Thanks for all who kept the team thread active and honestly we gave it a heck of a push to boot.
