    So my day.
Got in the stand an hour before light. Seen a small buck make a scrap at 40 yards behind me. Wind was set to spin full circle today. So ate a snadwhich in stand. Woke up at noon and decided to put my cameras over the two active scraps. Then checked my third camera and had tons of daytime activity yesterday. So even though i didnt like the wind i climbed up into a stand. 3pm see a small 8. Then the parade starts big buck lil buck doe buck bcuk buck doe buck buck buck buck buck. Miss miss. Now its 430 and ive convinced myself to go get my arrows and head to house. Get in bean field and see a deer on other end. Still one hour till legal shooting light. Lets try stalking. Get half way and a buck pops up. Sees me and starts coming to me. I draw. He turns broadside at 30. I shoot. Lokk at phone 5:26 . Look up its dark. Check for blood and arrow. See couple drops head to house. Deer i initially started stalking still in field. Start walking towards it grunting. Get ten yards away from big buck and doe. Doe spooks and i go eat and tell you guys blood.
Sry long read but really excited and want this buck. Spot and stalk whitetail in Iowa.

Best thing you did was give him time to die.

On my sit last night. Had a 2 yr old 8 come running past me being chased by a lab. Once buck got past me I could see it looked like it was shot far back. They run off to where I cant see them. About 1 min later I look back behind me and see another 8 point 2 yr old walking through the thick cover. Then the dog came back through and buck ran off.

So I'm sitting wondering who has a dog like this in the area. About 15 minutes go bye and I see a guy walking my direction and the dog was with him. He got to property line and I got his attention since he hadn't seen me yet. Asked him if he was tracking a deer. He said he shot a 8 point at noon. Was about 3pm at this time. I told him what I seen and told him his dog was chasing his hit buck and that it ran further into my father in law property. I told him it still moved pretty healthy and the hit looked far back on the side of deer I seen.
Wish i could of gotten a shot at it for him to help put him down.
Was a wild sit for a little while.

The main camera is a Canon G20...quite a few years on it but does well enough. The second angle is a Go Pro (believe 4)
