Had some young buck action tonight. Passed a 2 yr old that was chasing like crazy. Fun hunt. Hopefully a shooter shows up in the morning

Another doe for me tonight. Got a glimpse of a decent looking buck tonight but had deer all around me so wasn't able to call at him.
Sadly didnt make it out, rain all day today and yesterday became daddy and son day with momma doing stuff. Fingers crossed I make it out tomorrow...not pushing in deep or to most likely stands just quite yet but may sit a spot the one 3.5 year old with a drop comes out and would see an arrow due to drop
Didn't get out yesterday because of the rain. Ended up butchering my deer. Got 40 quarter pound bacon burgers 15 lb of steak in tenderloins. I don't always process my own dear but since this was a smaller Doe I decided to do so. I like making my own burger and do a custom grind of 10% bacon and it really turns out great. I have them already made up in patties so they're ready for the grill straight out of the freezer. Going to hit it this evening and I hope my big 10 comes by. Goodluck to those out today

Was in a dead zone tonight. No signal# Saw 5. Fork horn and 4 does. One of the does was a piebald. Cool looking deer.
0 sightings for me. Froze my nuts off though... even with 2 base layers on top and bottom and my scent lok suit. Cold front is here. Hope it gets them moving. Gunna move my stand on Wednesday evening. Get to hunt Wednesday-Sunday evenings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Pulled the chip where I was hunting tonight. Ignore the time stamp rain reset the camera. Just knowing he was there last night is enough.
Well fellas another hunt and tons of deer gave me shot opportunities but was only buck hunting and no shooter came through. Had a suspected shooter hang up 70 yards south of me in the thick swamp/thicket that responded to my calling with thrashing and scraping amongst saplings....went back and forth a few times actually and caught glimpses but nothing definitive to know who it was. While I havent been out much this year, when i have it has been a blessing seeing deer consistently. Cannot go till Friday again at the earliest...we shall see what unfolds.
Looking toward to my vacation starting this week. I have Thurday's and Friday's scheduled off for the next four weeks. Four day week ends pretty much all of November.
