Work here...but rain and cold front moves through Friday...date night with wife and gonna try like heck to hit a stand in the morning at our one spot where a couple shooters have been on cam retreating back into the bedding from the corn field and plots well within legal light. Gotta walk a LONG out of the way Easterly edge of the corn but I'll never have to break cover getting to the stand one bit as it is tucked along a fence line of the corn but 20 yards from where the corn meet a plot which meets a gape and access dirt crossing/culvert over the ditch planted in clover....the HUGE swamp/bedding is 20 yards to the stands left....fingers crossed!

Good luck Adam. Got a feeling that today may just be your day! Aim small miss small brother.

On another note I'm off to the beach this morning for the next 3 days. Its fall break for the grand kids and since we aren't able as a family to do Xmas get together I rented a house on the beach for us so we could. My present to my girls, SIL's and grand babies!

I'll be back after them next week balls to walls... Plan on a bunch of evening hunts after work...

Always, always, always check the hourly weather before you go to bed. The front is moving through today and last night was windier than ever. I didn't plan on hunting this morning but am now kicking myself. 0 wind and a light fog. Would have been the perfect morning to be out.

The flag hasn’t touched the pole all day and sleet/snow showers have been on and off since this morning. Missed out on the big cold front but will be out this next week.

So side not i was really hoping for a couple deer between this week and last. Working on a new job and taking care of 3 places is keeping me super busy. O my fatherinlaw is going through radiation treatments and chemo.

Checked my cameras last night after the 5 hour drive south. Just as usually bucks are absent but the does are still around. Mainly all night activity...... Yesterday 530pm is when they decided to change that pattern and do some daytime activities. I wasnt even half way home at that point! I'll be out this afternoon to get after it!

Well fellas my Saturday was quite the day. Early morning hunt passed an awesome 9 pointer, posted a video to my facebook page (Small Acre Hunting) if you wanna watch footage I got. Believe I have a picture on phone I can attach here.

Then last night pulled a shot left on an antlerless deer but after finding it bedded but alive we came back much later for recovery. exhausted forgot pics so heading to Pops place quick for photos.

In total saw 6 different bucks, only the nine would have broke 110 but couple were in that 80 to 100 range and those youngins are dumb crazy right now thinking it is the rut lol
