Have a wedding this weekend so likely won't be making it out. Might try to get out Thursday if it ever stops raining.

I hunted in Ohio this past Saturday, Sunday and Monday morning. Only does and fawns except for the first morning, I had a 3.5 year old 8 point come in at 45 yards. Too young for me. PA season comes in this Saturday but I don't have pictures of anything yet. I plan on taking my 10 year old granddaughter out. Hopefully we can at least see a young buck.

Well no hunting for me now until Sunday.

My mom who is 91 had an accident during physical therapy yesterday and busted her bum. Going by her care center tonight to check on her. The xray's last night showed no broken vertebrae in her back(got lucky she has osteoporosis), but she has lots of tail bone pain.

Also, my youngest called to surprise us that she is coming home from Wisconsin Friday and will be here around dinner time. She plans to stay until Sunday morning. There goes Thu-Sat hunting possibilities unless I throw up a ground blind in the front yard! :(

Sorry to hear about your mom bone head, wishing her a speedy recovery. Family first it’s a long season.

In a tree now suns about to be up, had 2 birds roosted in my tree that I was in, first gobble nearly made me fall out the tree, happens every year

Praying for a fast recovery for your mom! Family before hunting always.

Front is finishing up moving through today. Real windy and a high of 47 today. I can’t make it out but I think I’m going to set up some mock scrapes this afternoon.

Hopefully they decide to try some beans tonight. Got corn all around so this is one of the few bean fields around. 15701269266766535769868252732758.jpg

I'll be hitting the same exact stand tomorrow that I hit last year on the 5th of last year and arrow my beast. Bertier and Highrise (believe I've shared pictures here before) both are using this same exact bedding area clover plot I'll be on, especially Bertier. Fingers crossed I can slip in without them knowing (few beds are within 65 yards or so of the stand and one joins me!
