Off the injured list and back in the game. Broadheads at 25 yards. I went 5 for 5 touching the circle or in it.

will be heading out shortly after I decide where I want to go.

Here are a couple pics of the buck I seen this morning, but they are from last season as a 4yo.

He was at 23yds. A little screen shot from the little bit of footage. He stood there long enough for a shot, but those little branches were covering his vitals for me.

As @cls74 and @camo75 alluded, I put down 50 points tonight. I went back into the same spot I was in yesterday and redeemed myself from the crappy way that hunt ended. I will post the whole story later because it was quite the adventure with a happy ending.

i may try to get back out with the bow at
Some point during the week of Thanksgiving. Otherwise, what little time I have for hunting between now and Christmas with be with my boys to get them deer with the .243. They can’t pull enough draw weight yet to bowhunt legally.

Well chit, processor where I took head closed at noon today and not open tomorrow.

Was really hoping to get the call this weekend as now I will have to leave work 20 minutes early when they do call next week as they close at 5, I work until 4:30 and it's a 35 mile drive.

The top three teams are separated by less than the 50 points of a doe. Once those two buck scores are entered, we are right in the middle of this!

I went sewing this morning. Couldn't thread the needle. Would have pushed us to the top.

Just got a bigger chest freezer. Looking to tag a doe without worrying about meat spoil. Good Lord willing I'll be able to put some points on the board for us!

Rifle hunting with my son this afternoon. I may hunt in Oklahoma with archery equipment Thursday. I still have one buck tag and 4 doe tags there. Two buck and three does tags in Arkansas.

Scored 125 and has been entered. Just need @SouthernMDArcher's kill entered and we'll be up to date. I'll be back out this weekend with bow and gun, going to be 5 people total so not getting my hopes up now.

My butcher is very busy, only one around in the lower county. If I do not hear from him by this Friday, I will call him Saturday after I hunt.
In the meantime you guys keep putting them down, looks like we are in serious contention to win this thing !!!

No worries, unless we get to January

My season goes until mid January so plenty of time to get a second deer, after Thanksgiving I should be a little more uncontested on the property. Especially if it gets cold.
