    Congrats on the doe @bowhuntingbebout!

We took the family out on a charted trip for Mackrel and Bonito out of Destin this morning. It was a little slower than we hoped but we still had fun. Everyone in our party of 13 caught at least 1 fish.

Looks like a great time! Hope the family is doing better since losing your FIL. Time spent together can be the best medicine.

Had a good sit this morning. Late in the morning @ 9:30, had a buck chasing a doe to my surprise. Caught a glimpse of a white tail bopping along about 150 yards out. It’s a really nice 8 and he just stops and stares into a fence row. He starts walking towards the fence and out pops a doe and takes off running and he follows. It’s really heating up. Wife and I say a nice buck out by himself yesterday coming home from dr. It was like 2 hours before sunset.

I'm officially sitting tomorrow out. Forecasting too much rain for my liking. Will be out Saturday for sure and hopefully every day after that.

It's finally here guys, Halloween weekend. Scorecards going to light up shortly, hoping we can climb that ladder to the top!

We've had 5 1/2" over the last two days. Needed it but not all at once. At least it rained during the work week. Weekend weather looks good. Did I mention I'll be on vacation next week? I'll be spending lots of time in the stand. First week in November is my absolute favorite week to hunt.

Yeah, we had about 3 1/2- 4" since Sunday. Property I hunt is closer to 5" there.

I'm off through the 14th and temps are actually cooperating a bit compared to some years. I'm going to grind it out Sun up to Sun down(or close to it) every possible day I can until then. I want this to be my best season ever, I have never taken two straight weeks off, especially in November.

Good luck, and keep us up to speed on how it's going.

Remember to get the 2 pictures with all requirements

Looks like the bigger bucks are starting to show up. I'll be hunting most of the day tomorrow. Taking grandkids to the fall festival at church tomorrow evening. STC_0105.jpg MUD_0058.jpg

Finally was able to get out and hunt! In the blind with my oldest this evening after I got pics of a brute here at 3am this morning. Hoping he’s still in the area.

Came close to getting a shot on a good buck this evening on some public. Came in behind me and the tree was in the way. Guess I should have taken my saddle setup instead. Oh well, looks like I got tricked this Halloween.

I've saw 17 so far this morning. Rushed my shot and missed a doe. Only two were bucks, both small.

Had three does come in this morning around 1030 but, the wind had shifted. The matriarch blew a couple times but didn't run off. They all just turned around and walked away. Anyone else have a tough time with the wind last week? It was all over the place for me. This weeks should hopefully be more steady and a better wind for my set ups coming out of the W/NW...fingers crossed. Should be a good week!

I have the rest of the week off so I will be out for the next 6 days. Going to be 30 in the morning so hopefully we see some good movement over the next week. Good luck team!

Good luck! I'll be working tomorrow, but I'll be heading out for a few days of gun hunting with some friends. I'm leaving out Wed. and we're hunting Thurs-Sat, then it's back to the longbow.

Saw a really nice buck yesterday evening. He was a mainframe 8 or 10 with several stickers. I had a momentary shot opportunity, hard 1/4 away but didn't take it. He was heading towards my son's stand. He was also unable to get a good shot. He's working until six so I'm in his stand this evening.

I found some shed antlers while cleaning out my FIL’s shed this past weekend. I made my first set of authentic rattling antlers. Hopefully, I will get a chance to try them out next weekend.
