Look at the spread on this one! Cattle are no longer on this small pasture. Didn't take long for them to eat it down. I hope to get better pictures of this buck. He looks promising. MUD_0279.jpg MUD_0055.jpg

Good luck if you get out this weekend. Our opener is tomorrow. Unfortunately, I inherited the head cold my son had last week and I haven’t slept well the last few night. On top of that, my FIL was admitted to the hospital Thursday night. He went completely blind in his right eye out of nowhere. His vision has been coming and going. Losing his hearing on and off as well. I doubt he will go home this weekend, but if he does and I can get some decent sleep tonight, I may try Sunday morning. Highs are 90s Saturday and Sunday, I am not hunting in that heat.

ither than thus cold messing up my sleep, I am not that sick. I have had hangovers that feel worse than this.

Hope he can get well quickly. I’m dealing with a never ending cough myself. Hopefully we all can put a few down and help Dave out on some points. @Brad Kaufmann will you be able to unite us with an avatar and some free sweatshirts?

You guys get well. For me, I am hitting the woods in the AM. Maybe I will double up again on doe..........., I say we should get 50 points for my extreme effort if I do)))

Anyways, get well guys, be safe and hunt hard.

If multiple doe entries were allowed, @LittleChief would single-handedly post more points than half the teams.

Opening morning tomorrow in Arkansas. I'm working late tonight and my granddaughter has a soccer game in the morning, so I won't make it out. I'll be hunting Sunday morning for sure. Good luck guys!

Can’t wait to see what kind of hole these ToTA heads leave in a deer. Really like the design and flew great in the wind today. E184A182-2C46-49DC-812A-D9F75A4055BB.jpeg

Good shooting Camo75. I saw multiple doe this morning but no shot chances. Had two bucks sparring to my left at about 80 yards but could not tell their size. Back in the saddle in the morning.

    Be safe guys !!!

My opener isn't until Friday, and as it stands now weather is not cooperating. Although taking exact forecast beyond 3 days as setting yourself up for failure.

It looks better than it had, mid 80's no low 80's but I'd rather see the highs where the lows are

Never know, coworker is wanting a deer so my first one will likely go to him. If all I have to do is track, gut and drag it might happen, just have to make sure it's a high percentage shot for a short track.

Aside from that, don't expect much from me until my rutcation, unless we get a good cold spell beforehand.

Good luck everyone, November is a mere 36 days away.

I passed on this little guy that was less than 10yds from me. Had a lone doe come in, but stayed out of range. Right at last light another doe with a fawn came in. Slept in this morning since it's still really early into the season here. Going out in a few to see what I can get into.

Only thing I seen was another spike. I was at a completely different piece of public land too. Temps are going to creep back up into the 80's this week, so I may go after work a time or two. Planning on making a trip to NC this coming weekend to hunt. Maybe I can get into some better action in the mountains there.

    Best of luck in NC!

I'm heading to South Dokota on Thursdat morning to start chasing some Muleys between the badlands and Buffalo grass lands. If I see a good whitetail I'll shoot that but goal is a Muley!

Good Luck Guys! I've another 3 weeks yet. Went out foe the last time and check my cameras yesterday. Scrapes are starting to get used again. There's one right in front of one of my stands and it was fresh.

Went out yesterday morning. Wind was wrong for stand I wanted to hunt. Hunted a south wind stand, hoping to kill a doe. I saw 0 deer. I had family obligations in the evening. This weekend Oklahoma season will be open. Planning to hunt there.

If I’m lucky I may squeeze in a few hour hunt Friday night. If not I’ll be out all day Saturday. Good luck team!
