I was out again this morning, saw 4 at about 100 yds. They caught my wind a bolted…. they are on edge to say the least. I did bring my climber with and left it on a tree I picked out while scouting the neighbors, lots of signs of eating acorns under the oaks there. This tree is back from the swamp 125 yds but I can easily see into the swamp from it. I did pick out a couple more trees but I wanted to start there, it will be easy to move in a hurry if needed.
Was out again this morning, another big fat 0. I did pull a camera chip and they are nocturnal from the gun season. A real nice 8 pt cruised by the stand I was in at 3:30 am this morning. A few other bucks came past in daylight a day before the gun season, the MN gun season’s timing just sucks. Tomorrow I head into the neighbors property to see what I can find, hopefully they all get pushed to me.

Hello fellow teammates, I’m back home from Missouri, unfortunately nothing was doing anything. I took today to spend time with family, going to give the morning a go. Hopefully I can get something going, I need some freezer chow.
When Mike and Indianas Bucks get on the board we will be in second place and 90-100 pts behind Team 5. As a team we still can shoot 2 Doe and 4 Buck. Plenty of season left. Good luck everyone.

The neighbors to my west killed this one last Sunday, second day of gun season…. I really wish gun season would start later

I had four deer encounters today. Two doe at 50 yds, a doe at 40, and a fork horn at 6 yds. Let’s see what tomorrow brings. I am not seeing or hearing any chasing in Nebraska. I have tomorrow and next weekend here, and then I’m off to Wisconsin for four days of hunting over Thanksgiving. If Wisconsin doesn’t pan out, I will spend a lot of time in S.Dakota and Nebraska until I close the deal on a buck, You guys are doing an excellent job keeping the pressure on. Congrats to all the successful deer takers! I want to be right there with you!

Couldnt resist getting out with my daughter in a stand. Its warm but it nov 12th we just want to see some deer.
