I’ll be filling feeders and taking my girl out this weekend. Who knows maybe I’ll get to pull the trigger this weekend too Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Girl friend or daughter? My wife knows she can come out anytime but she doesn’t get guide service until my buck tag is filled. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Yessssss! Meat in the freezer and 50 pts. 2 different pics with you, the deer and your bow for the scorecard.
We have 5 more Doe that we can shoot and 7 Bucks. Looking good as a team everyone. Good luck out there . Pre Rut is kicking off, personally my favorite bow hunting time of the year. I have Youth weekend this weekend and then I'll be in a VT tree quite a bit the next two weeks. I know I cant add any more points but will hopefully be able to share a nice VT Buck with you guys. A little personal news. This year I retired after 28yrs as a Trooper and 5yrs as a local Chief of Police, supposedly my retirement job. Hahaha, not quite so much. Now I'm into my second retirement job, I mow lawns. That's ending this week here in VT and NH. So I'm super excited to be getting out on mid day hunts over the next 4wks. Again, have a great season this year. This time only comes once a year, which means we only see it 50-60 times in our life. Just something to think about.
Congratulations on a retirement Chief! Alot to be proud of there. Appreciate ya. Best of luck in your retired-retirement years lol
Just dropped the doe off for processing. 100lbs field dressed. Not my biggest doe but she'll eat good!
The older you get the greater your appreciation for how short life is. Enjoy your hard earned free time. You deserve it. I’m on call until Sunday morning at 7am. Based on the forecast I will try to get out that afternoon or Monday. I have a few days off during the week and hopefully can get a doe down. Stay after em guys! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Congrats on the retirement! I can’t imagine being any type of officer in this day and age with all these crazy people out and about, so Thanks for all that you have done over the years! I may head out tonight for an afternoon hunt, but next week is looking pretty good as of right now weather wise and everything should start to move more.
Man, I want to retire in the worst way possible, but my 23 y/o daughter just informed me that she's thinking Law School...Congrats on your retirement, Chief! I am heading back to S. Dakota tonight. I hope there's a buck in the cards this weekend!
