I like the red mark on the right. Deer will cross over that hill between the two ag fields and if that's a creek even better. Look for trails along the plates on the inclines that are parallel to the fields. Then find a trail that goes between the two fields and intersects. That intersection will be gold. Also if that solid blue line is a creek find a creek crossing. It will be noticable. Also money.
Wrong doe came in, that’s momma and baby, I can’t do it, we see each other every hunt. There’s a 6 pack of doe I’m waiting for. No bucks this evening, not sure if I’ll be out in the morning, I have a lot of house work to do. But, if I have one of my many middle of the night piss breaks at 4am, I’ll head out.
I had a brief encounter with a shooter but no shot. I go back to work on Tuesday. Tomorrow looks like a wash out. I will reposition stand and if Sunday looks good I will try to get back out there. Now that the beans are down there is a greater likelihood I will kill a doe if I get the chance. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got a bunch of my house work done, but I don’t think I’ll head out this evening, going to chill out and hit the morning hunt.
Moved that stand. Did some more trimming. Moved a couple cameras, pulled cards. If the forecast holds I’ll be out tomorrow. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Work has me sidelined until next weekend. I'm back to South Dakota next friday night. Nice shoot'in, Capt!
BB down. I'll get it posted in a couple hours. That will do it for my contest. Now I get to Buck hunt in 3 states an watch you guys rack up the points.
It's a long season. Also being that I'm retired from full time work I have more time to hunt. It's a good feeling. Still have two teenage boys at home though so it still takes some doing.
Congrats on being retired from full time work. I hope to do the same soon! Getting ready to walk out to the stand. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
