OK, What kind of setups is Team 16 using? Is everyone almost dialed in? I'm shooting a Hoyt Havoc at 60#, Carbon Express 4560 arrows, and Muzzy 100 grain 3-blade. Had 9 years on my string, so thought best to get new one this year...almost done breaking it in - shooting good. Next week it will be all broadheads for practice after that...it's ready to hunt tomorrow though if I had to. My current #1 arrow has passed through it's last 5 deer - new blades and I'm looking for number 6!
I have two rigs ready to rip. My 08 Max 4 101st Airborne and my 09 Air Raid. The Air Raid will be up first. I run the same accs on both, just Max 4 on the 101st and Black on the Air Raid. Sights: Viper Predator MicroTunes Rests: LimbDrivers Quivers: Octane 1 Pieces Stab: Octane 11.5 Arrows: 430 grain Victory V1 with a 7 inch wrap and AAE Max Hunters BH: Slick Trick Magnums
I'm shooting the Bowtech Tribute Arrows: Goldtip XT Hunters Broadheads: Rage2blade Rests: Wisker Bisket Sights: HHA Quivers: Alpine Soft Loc
Im shooting hoyt vectrix and it is definatly ready to go. I have been shooting all summer long and I am using rage broad heads with easton full metal jackets. It is as dialed in as its going to get. All I need now is a deer in front of me!!!
Just put my broadheads on last night and am a little concerned about my shooting, 3 or 4 shots good, then a flyer, I think its all me. Hoyt Razortec Carbon Tech Arrows Magnus Buzzcuts Trophy Taker Rest T-minus 3 weeks until Colorado elk.....
Keep me posted on the Elk adventure...I'll be going to Colorado next year for the first time...I think about it every day. Take some pics for me! Good Luck!
I'll be toting the: 2007 Bowtech Allegiance Alpine Softloc Limbdriver Extreme pins Wildthing Stabilizer Gold Tip XT hunters with "Feathers" this year And Bh's.... Im not sure yet, either my tried and true Strikers, Rages, or I might try the bloodrunners IDK yet.
I'm shooting the Hoyt Katera (Brand New for me this year) Arrows: Carbon Express Broadheads: Muzzy 100 grain 3 blade Rests: Whisker Bisket Sights: Fuse Quivers: Hoyt I am pledging 190 points. I hunt on my dad's 360 acre farm in northern missouri and I will be hunting every weekend from mid sept until mid jan. I will not shoot a buck with my bow unless it is in that 135-140 range so that's why I am pleding so high. I have a 175 inch 17 point monster patterened through 3 cameras, but I am letting my father hunt first (we are a filming team) so he can see how I get all the cool static shots during the hunt. I will be hunting with Midwest Whitetail Team Missouri this year so you will most likely see my hunt on the web before I post anything here. We're going all in after that monster "Double Brow" from day one asa we think we have him pegged. If I am not the one to kill him I have 4 other nice targets ranging from 135 - 160 inches of bone. Does will not be a problem as I plan to shoot about 6-10 this year. I have planted 40 acres of beans, which we will be turning over to winter wheat after the harvest and I have 3 one acre Brassica food plots that are in secluded areas of my farm. Perfect for staging areas. My hopes and goals are high, that's the kind of guy I am. I put in a ton of $$ and good ole fashion sweat into this year and I plan on it paying off in a big way. Good luck fellas, let's bring this thing home. Sweet avi by the way.
Just checking...did all of you guys save your avatars and upload them? I'm going to clear my photobucket in a day or so, so make sure you aren't hotlinking it from there. Good luck to you guys this fall!
Just a reminder boys... Two pictures at different angles with your bowkill...with you and bow included. Want all the points to count. And obviously I would enjoy the full story and stats associated with the kill.
What gives, are we all out too busy scouting that our thread has fallen to the second page? Bump. Any body got any targets on cam they are after?
Hit List Bucks I can only attach these two and they aren't the best views because I have posted all the better ones in the trail cam section and for some reason it won't let me post them in more than one forum.
