If finch wants it by all means let him have it. Not exactly wanting to do it, but don't think there's much to do either? Which I guess begs the question, is there anything to do?

I vote for cls! if I'm not mistaken, him and I were on a team together a couple years back. He showed real leadership qualities then too. :)

Basically it's your duty to police the team, PM people that don't show up and make sure everyone posts their kills right. If there is something to note I'll tell the Captains and they can be sure to let the teams know. If questions come up, usually the Capt will find the answer. Basically your would be the official spokesperson of the team.

I don't always captain teams, but when I do, I prefer "docena*sucia*". Stay blood thirsty my friends.

Not sure how I missed your check in, sorry about that. Went by the highlighted names.

Where are you traveling to in IL? You'll be hitting it in prime time by most years standards. Really hoping the EHD/Blue tongue hasn't been too detrimental to the herd. One good thing is Isaac dumped quite a but of rain on the state so should have helped replenish some of the water sources. It's going to be an interesting year for sure, the drought took its toll on agricultural crops.

    Looks good NPD!

I made it out yesterday to trim a couple stands. I have a few more to do, but it won't happen until Monday or Tuesday I'm guessing. One week and I'm in the stand :tu:

.... I am soooo ready for this.

Looks like a pretty good cool down coming for parts of the midewest towards the 20th. Could see some overnights in the 30's all the way down into southern IL. Really hoping for a cool October/November. I won't hunt in the heat either, still 22 days. For the opener here, but I won't be getting out until at earliest the following weekend.

    Nice bucks boys!

T, I suck at the age game, but he looks like he's just starting to really fill out. 3 would be my guess.

No, that was in the middle of June. He could have really grown a lot since then.

I love BIG N BEASTY! Fridged forage does have some great mixes. I have about a 1/2 acer planted in it this year on one of my plots.

Little scouting update. Went out for the last couple of days to some Corp of Engineers ground around lake Perry. Today we stumbled upon two very used bedding areas and what I am going to call the Triangle of death connecting the two bedding areas and the place I believe to be the main place that these deer go into the field to feed. Luckily the corn that is there is about the only corn I have seen that actually made anything and you can see where they have been tearing it up. Pretty excited I found my 3rd place to hunt this winter. That was my goal going in was to find 3 what I consider to be high probability areas to hunt before season and now I believe I have them.
