Hey guys, with the holiday weekend coming up and all I figured I'd post this now in case everyone has plans and won't be around. Monday is fast approaching and we have yet to hear from MassBow413, how long do you guys want to wait until we ask for a replacement? Hopefully all is well with him and he makes it on this weekend.

I have no problem waiting, or request a replacement whenever you guys see fit to do so. Hopefully MassBow413 will check in before the weekend is out. With that being said, I also feel plenty of time has passed since the team announcements, and I would have thought those that really want to participate would be checked in by now.

But, things do come up, and life happens......

Well hopefully he isn't having a week like we did last week. 2 family deaths and 2 funerals was too much to handle. But now I'm back and also back at getting ready for deer season. My buddy and I were down at our farm in Ohio two weekends ago checking cameras, hanging stands and mowing plots. Got some good pics to share once I get back to looking through all of them. Nice job on the avatars and sig pics!!

I may be hunting in my neighborhood some to... I was asked to thin out the herd ... We have a few big bucks since we are among houses they probably feel untouchable.. We will see how Goldtips topped with Rage change the attitudes

cls74- Your the captain so I am comfortable with what ever decision you decide, but I do want to make sure we get a replacement if he doesn't show.... I hope our deer are OK, I head to Texas to hunt Blackbuck Antelope for the holiday weekend.. Hope everyone has a good weekend if I don't get back on before I leave..

Have a safe trip, and an enjoyable hunt. Hopefully, you do well..........and have some cooler weather down that way! Looking forward to hearing how your hunt went when you return home. Sounds like fun to me. Those are beautiful animals!

Oh boy... I think my season MAY just be starting early... The home owners association head guy came to my house today asking me if I would like to thin out some of the deer in the neighborhood and I told him I surely would...

I think he is going to be getting damage stamps or something for me... If thats the case I am on the prowl for this gorgeous 8 pointer :) and one nice 6 pointer... Maybe as a newbie i will stand a chance for helping the team out :)

That is awesome. Is the deer population really over run where you are at?

Anyone here film their hunts? I have an insane archery mount for my bow I usually put a handycam on. Took it off last season after I thought the zoom spooked a buck I had drawn back on. I'll probably put it back on this year. I don't talk or anything though, just film the encounters and so far only one kill, but its awesome to relive it every now and then.

Yes very much so... If I was a poacher I could kill an average of 10-15 deer just in my neighborhood per week...

When October 1st rolls around, I'll be giving the team 110%.

That's easy for me.............I don't know any other way to do anything worth doing in the first place.

The season is short.....................hunt hard AND hunt smart! :deer:
