Team 16 - Fatal Trajectory

Pa opener is only 8 days away. I can't believe it is almost here. Will be looking to take out this buck the first day. I won't be able to hunt him in the morning because we have baseball practice but he has been showing up regularly around 6:30 every few nights. After that i'll be looking for a mature slickhead to get some meat.

 

Buying my liscense tomorrow FINALLY... Need to pick up a camo a t-shirt and some thermals and will be good to roll

Saw my first BIG buck today, helped a buddy drag it out, he shot it in st Louis co. mo. I could see the arch when we were drapping..rough scored 177"-10 point clean..........Feeling excited!!!!!!!

 

Saw noting this morning but it is raining like crazy now and I think its goign to call it for today unless it opens up later. Looking for tomorrow morning to be cooler and more movement

2 weeks away grr... Been seeing plenty of deer in my neighborhood making me itch to get out and see something...

 

Watched two 140"+ bucks in the same field tonight 1/2 hr before dark. plenty of time to get an arrow in them next Saturday.

Mother Nature is trying to rain on my parade next weekend, I never buy into weather that far out but it bears watching. It will be a morning of radar decision should it pan out, which with my luck it's likely.

My Son and I did some final prep's on stand sites this morning, and swapped out camera cards. We are ready to roll! Got a couple decent bucks on camera too. Nothing that takes your breath away, but it's good to see them up and around. All the deer I have on camera look healthy, so that's always a plus!

 

Went ahead and put my camera back on the bow today, I'll practice a few times using the zoom and such but contemplating taking the remote off and leaving it at a fixed zoom. Up in the air on it, some shots are 35yds others as close as 5, makes it hard to choose that happy medium.

Picking up my first set if tags Wed. after work and weather/work aside I'll be out an hour before sunrise on Friday. Hoping for a quick 50 on the board. Can't wait to get out there!

Will video and Pictures work??

I have a Jack Knife phone mount for my bow and this thing is freaking AWESOME... I plan on videoing my hunts as well as the 2 required photos for the contest...

By the way are there any specifics on what is needed in the photos?? Just 2 pics or do they have to be different poses etc??

 

Can someone also point me in the direction of some field dressing instructions as well... I haven't hunted since 05 and I dun forgot how to clean a deer ... I haz the dumbs lol
