So, this weekend was good. Nothing hunting related for me, but I did get a lot accomplished. Worked on the boat. Worked on a buddies bow. Spent some time with my dad (he's in poor health). Overall a good weekend.

For the life of me I can't figure out what your profile pic is.

The worst part is that it grosses me out. What is it? It looks like a screen shot from your last colonoscopy.

A couple more nice bucks. Mainframe 10s, one with a split g2 and one with split brows. Another nicer 8 in background. Unfortunately had a fawn lick my camera and it is off center so bunch of pics were on the edge of the frame. These were the best I had.

I think he is talking about the stand I posted. I wouldn't steal it cuz I know it would piss me off to no end but I am debating on going in there and tearing it down into as many pieces as I can and leave it all at the base of the tree. As far back into the woods as it is, I know that the person who put it up isn't coming back until opening day. That would be a nice surprise haha

It's the inside of a boars mouth propped open by a stick and showing off his tusks.

If you look closely you can see the polyps.
JK, Covey's got it. The tusks actually grew back into the bar's mouth and were ready to come out the bottom of the lower jaw.

It looks like he last logged in on the 14th. The day the teams were assigned. Must have been early in the morning and didn't see the thread because how could he not sign I to this awesome team!

Have had 0 time for anything deer related the last few weeks because of my new job. Heading to the cabin for the last time this weekend and leaving for Costa Rica next Thursday... Will likely be out of the woods until opening day.

I know the struggle with the new job issues. Definitely tough to get any time out in the woods!

Everyone has struggles with time. Many of us struggle with that work, family, hunting aspect and finding a balance. No one needs to apologize for not getting out or not having time. This is a fun competition. Hunting is an escape to be enjoyed. Get out when you can. Enjoy it for what it is and if you happen to shoot a deer in the process and it happens to be a 150" monster buck, all the better! :)

Hoping to get my food plots in this week. Also have to mow existing clover and a few more trails in top of trimming out my stands. It never ends and there is never enough time and my house is right across the road from my hunting land!

Yes! This is great to hear. It's all about fun. I'm glad people realize this. Yes we all want to shoot that 150 inch deer but if you shoot a forky I will be just as happy as a teammate. Any deer with a bow is a trophy. No judging here. They all eat the same and I want to feed my family. Have fun!
