I actually work about 5 min away from Mercyhurst. It is pretty nice as long as the weather cooperates. Constantly getting dumped on from lake effect snow in the winter and everyone that lives in Erie refers to it as "Dreary Erie" due to all the rain haha
Yea it was never nice coming up from sunny NC to a bitter cold snowy march in Erie lol. Especially in march Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Got some shooting lanes cleared and a camera up at a property I have permission on from one of my friends last night. Also stopped by his grandparents house a minute down the road and they introduced me to these sheds that were found in early spring. Here's to hoping this guy decides to wander this year!!!
How is everyone's season prep going? Anyone hanging stands yet? My dad and I just hunt some really nice sets in New Jersey, the season kicks of the 9th for me there. Will probably hang some stands I PA the last weekend of august. When do you guys start ? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I have a a few more fall plots to get in the ground. Most of my stand sets have been hung but probably will move a few in the next few weeks. I keep cams out all year and will now start to wait for daylight pics of bucks.
I've got two large blinds set, but I need to get one stand move and the other hung hoping to get out in two weeks season starts Labor Day Sept 2 in Ky. Sent from my iPad using Bowhunting.com Forums
This guy winded me at 25 yards last year. Was hoping to see him this year but thanks to trespassers my story with him ended prematurely Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Me and my dad will be checking ladder stands and setting a couple cameras out this weekend while scouting a possible new lease on an adjoining piece of property. When we know exactly how much ground we will have to hunt we will move stands around the second or third week in September. These are mainly rut locations though so the deer will have plenty of time to relax from all the intrusion.
