My all day sit in Wisconsin didn't go as planned. I only saw 3 deer. A doe, a fork and an 8pt. I misjudged the distance on the 8 and shot under him :( He wasn't a hitlister but nice.

I lied again as all didn’t go as planned. Father in law decided to take his brother out to show him the lay of the land for gun season. ‍♂️ The land didn’t change from last year! Why do it in the middle of the rut at 3:00 in the afternoon? ‍♂️

yeah these are the ones I have. Decent boot but like most rubber boots a pain to get on and off. Any specific question about them?

Just wondering how you like them? I'm in central MN and plan to use them for late season and ice fishing. I just got a pair of nice Merino wool socks... I'm assuming a single pair of socks should be find for temps that get under 20?

Rolled into Deer camp in Ky very cool place been in the family 100 years give or take, went down in a holler put out some minerals, got back to camp. Sitting atmy table, two doe walk into camp. Large are you kidding.

Delima , brother in law up in Lexington has never seen a bow kill begs me not to shoot, ok tag plus permit in Ky gets 3 doe one buck., I have none right now, rifle season starts Saturday, and oh that’s all you can take one buck, the next week until gun is over. Well I gotta go back to work at some point.
So should I have taken at least one of the does? It’s my first night.?, I need 50 points for the team, well I didn’t and now I’m thinking, oh fu.....

    Good luck blackbear!!

I'm still looking to get some meat on the ground. I am running out of time to get quality hunting time in. Will probably hit the chopped corn this weekend and see if I can take a doe.

Into gun season in Ky, I was unable to get my doe earlier in the week, it looks like next trip or an Ark doe to match my buck, I did nail a buck with my 3030 today so bringing back some meat.

Not sure if you guys saw in the live from the stand thread, I️ shot a giant last night, and tracked him for over 700 yards and ended up loosing blood headed into property I️ didn’t have permission, good news I️ saw an even bigger 8 point tonight, he got to 115 yards. Be at I️t again in the morning

Been in the stand for the past 3 days straight. Couldn’t make it happen. Too many pheasant hunters where I’m at to keep the deer around. Only about 100 acres worth of huntable land surrounded by private land. Today was my last day to get it done during strictly early archery season in pa. May or may not be around for gun season depending on work. If I am around I will be taking my bow with me

No hope of getting on that other property to look? Man, that’s too bad. I’ve only lost one deer in my 11 years of bowhunting and it ate me up to the point that I couldn’t even hunt anymore that season. Just didn’t feel right. Of course it was a giant and probably the biggest deer I’ve seen on the hoof to date. Hope you can bounce back! After looking for 2 weeks, I never found the deer, but the neighbor did the following August. At least I got some closure, but it still haunts me.

Blackbear congrats on your kill brother.

    Aaron sorry about your loss.

I hunted the last 4 days and had an opportunity at a doe and passed. She was in heat so I was hoping she would bring in a buck. The little fawn she was with kept trying to mount her. I may regret that.

On a good note I did shoot the new Triax and ended up ordering one.
