What's up team? How's it going? Anyone been in the woods, checked cams, or anything deer related?

I'll be out this weekend setting my rut stand. Haven't been on the north swamp of my property all year long.... Hoping it pays off.

I’ve been super busy with work this week. Getting out in the morning tomorrow. I found a giant rub last Saturday so I set a camera on it. Hopefully I get a pic of whatever left it. Also hoping that my cam is still there since it is out on public land and not hidden very well! I’ll take a pic of the rub and post it in here.

Been in the stand for a while now. Checked my camera on the way in and only pick I got was of a doe checking out a mock scrape I made last week. Hopefully my luck will change today. Good luck to all those in the woods today!

Bad wind and rain and a wife working this morning have me in the house with the kids. Tomorrow looks worse here in WI so looks like I'll be waiting until midweek to sit. Lots of smaller bucks on cam with a few nicer ones sprinkled in. Fair amount of daylight movement. Won't be long now!

It's been raining the last couple days. It's supposed to quit tomorrow morning. I'm going to sit overlooking my kill plot tomorrow afternoon and hopefully get one coming in for a bite to eat. Going to the WI property Thursday.

The rain has stopped. The wind is perfect. It's nice and cool. Going to be a great night to let an arrow fly!

IMG_0734.JPG My view for tonight. First sit of the year. Hopefully the cold front in Missouri gets them on the acorns early tonight.

Well, I didn't see anything on my first sit of the year. That's ok. I know they are there. I'm heading to Wisconsin property Thursday. Hopefully I have some nice pictures to post in here and the scorecard ;)

Good morning. Saw 7 in Virginia on Saturday and 1 in NC yesterday. No shots presented themselves. Hung a new set in Va that I expect to be key in the next couple of weeks.

Locked N Knocked. Warmer than forecasted but could still be good. Only day without 10-20 mph winds in the next several so taking advantage before the cold front later next week.

One basket 8 already. Had him at 25 yards on a nice steady walk on a mission to figure out why his peepee is starting to tingle.

My dad and I went to the Wisconsin property yesterday. I didn't see anything but my dad put a doe down! Plus we found out our #2 hitlister made it through. He showed up on camera. Going to move a stand and come up with a plan to get him when the rut hits!

The color pic is last year. The IR pics are this year. Looks like he added length and mass.
