Way to go and get us on the board. There's nothing to be ashamed of with that buck. If we could all do that and each get a doe we would definitely win! Awesome job man!

Great buck! Way to get the team on the board. Hitting the stand tonight myself so fingers crossed. You’re buck looks bigger than 109” to me for what it’s worth! I’m sure it’s not as you measured it honestly, but nothing to be ashamed of for sure. Awesome!

I thought he was bigger than 109 myself! I even had a buddy measure to confirm. It was a fun hunt either way!

Well, 50 points for the team. Redeemed myself with a good shot on a medium size doe at 16 yards. She read the script. Fed in my staging plot and then moved right up the mown path upwind of my stand and I smoked her. Brought the pup out for practice and he did a great job again. Found it in about 2 minutes and only left the trail briefly twice. It was an easy track but very encouraging that he actually knows what he is doing. I’ll get it posted up on the scorecard ASAP.

    Good luck HuntinKB51!

Can we finalize our avatar so we can change our profiles? Can’t remember who was working on it and am too lazy to go back and look, but whatever is great!

Also, mlavigne, if you can resubmit your buck photos, that’d be great! The scorecard was accidentally deleted.

supposed to have frost friday morning and I was hoping to get a hunt in but wife has to work and there are these 4 little things that live in my house the require a lot of attention...

im also currently trying to change jobs, while I'm hopeful it works out it might put a damper on my ability to hunt as much as I'd like, however to maintain any semblance of sanity I need a professional change.

I missed a good one tonight. Looks like I shot right under the blood pumper. Seven hairs on my broadhead. Kept hitting a branch everytime I tried to aim. Two bucks came in late. One was the one I passed up on my first sit of the year. Maybe I should have shot at him but I wanted the other deer because he had character. He had a crab claw on the right side and a drop time at the end of his main beam on his left side. Cutting that dag gum branch tomorrow morning and going back out after it. Both bucks came right back in after being spooked by the shot. So I'm going back. 16016084219573651842064617750821.jpg

Opening day is tomorrow here in PA!:woot: It will be a wet sit in the morning since it has been raining for the last day or two and I didn't grab my seat cushion off the stand when I set it early on in the week but in all honesty I don't care. Last year I only got out once before I decided to break both legs so as long as I get 2 sits in, I will have hunted more lol. Good luck to all who are out as of now!

46 degrees. In stand as we speak. A tad bit wet so may turn into a recon mission but damn does this feel good.

Well guys went in after a shooter last night. Got photos of him in the am yesterday and moved onto a scrape he hit next to where i believe he is bedding. Not much going on and then in the last hour i see him at about 25 yards through brush. I’m hunting hill country and positioned up high. There was no wind and thermals dropping straight down. Instead of working the scrape above me, he comes below me through woods and smells me almost instantly. He stomped and bounded off, i blew it. I didn’t expect him to come that way as its very rare. Oh well, just hope he comes back.
