Joe Bear, Since you say you have video I'm going to wait for you to post that before I enter your buck into the scorecard. I simply can't make out the bow in the second pic. If you have video of the entire hunt it won't be a problem. Please send me a message when you add the video to your entry post so that I know to look at it and get your buck entered.
Yea that's a great buck for sure, and on video no less. Major congrats.. Hope all the team is doing well. I am hunting does tonight on my buddies property. He said its over run with them. So far the only deer I seen was the two does in front of the stand that I busted out coming in!! I keeping track of decent buck on another friends place that that I just got permission to hunt. I don't normally hunt the regular season but however I may take my bow out after that buck the first couple days. Bow hunting during Nys regular season is little dicey, we will see.

Wouldn't you know it, the only deer that gave me a shot was this guy...and I have no buck tag. He did a good job herding the doe and keeping her in the woods. Going to take James tomorrow and set up a ground blind to see if we can catch a doe coming to the food plot.

Well this guy came in real quick yesterday around 9:30 AM. He was trotting and i stopped him. At the shot he trotted forward and i hit him back. I have it all on film. Left him lay knowing it was cold and gut shot. Found him at first light this morning.
Great work everyone. This team has done great this year! I hung a new stand today, not sure why but I may hunt it during the regular season the next couple Weeks, while I have another buck tag. I think I can get away with bowhunting the week days on couple of my properties. We will see. I am not sure what to do this weekend coming with the opening of gun/regular season. This is the first year since 2012 that I been home for it. I am already working to rectify that for next year. I would rather avoid it, and if I am not around well it won't make me aggravated. I may go sit in the woods just for the hell of it.
