IT'S TIME. The marathon begins for me. Stressing over deer and 3 am nights hunting coyotes. I will be heading to the stand this evening if the wind forecast stays true throughout the day. took this job I have (with terrible benefits and really no PTO) because I needed a job, turns out the health insurance is worse than I thought. Initially I thought it was just expensive, well actually its a pretty cheap plan, the employer just doesn't pay any of it, but it also doesn't cover anything. $1,200 a month for just horrible coverage with super high deductible and total out of pocket. I have an interview coming up with another place where I have some connections, some good some bad... The biggest pro of this place is really good benefits package. Now if I happen to change jobs in Oct/Nov PTO is pretty well out of the question BUT I might be able to have a gap week or two between the two which would allow for some good hunting time. Gosh I hope I get this.
