I agree, it's an appropriate name, for sure. Who will be our team captain?

Yes I was, Christine still moderated that for a long time if I remember correctly. Good to see you moved right up the ranks. Thanks for the add. Every year if I remember in time I sign up.

It wasn’t so much that I moved up the ranks. I just volunteered to help with the contest in 2020 and one thing led to another. People are always looking for someone who is willing to work for free.

I’m going to make that the team name until I hear something different.

Jeff, you feel like taking the captain job? I’m going to need someone soon.

I am willing to be Captain. I am not that tech savvy but I’m sure you will help me with it if needed.

Unless someone else speaks up I’m going to consider you the captain then.

There really isn’t much to it at all. You’re really just a point of contact for me.

Here’s the first thing for you and your team to consider: Wisconsin Buckwatch hasn’t checked into the team yet and it’s been 12 days. He’s been online since then and I’ve sent him a message, but unless he checks I don’t know if he’s playing or not.

I’ve been contacted by one other person who missed the sign ups but would like to participate. That means that if Wisconsin Buckwatch doesn’t check in by the 25th I do have an alternate for him.

This will be totally up to you and the rest of your team, but you should discuss it as a possibility.

Can't commit to the position, but arrowflinger1 gets my vote. He'll make a fine team captain. :hail:

Ok, I will be the Captain then. I’m pretty sure everyone else said that they didn’t want to do it or were too busy.

No, NebMo hunter had it in one of his posts so I’m assuming that he did it. I liked it so I just used it. I thought it was perfect

I sat yesterday from 3:00pm-7:00pm, didn't see any deer, let alone the 8pt I'm after. Tough situation, because in this funnel/hollow I'm hunting, I'm getting frequent wind shifts. Very light wind, but still shifting. Never a good thing, but where I'm located is where he travels, so I have to stay committed to my spot. Back in tomorrow afternoon/evening.

I've yet to see a deer hunting, but only 3 partial day sits (2 morning, 1 evening). All on my land. It's been very warm (80s & 90s), but that should be changing soon...

I was out tonight and saw 4 does and fawns, I was at full draw on the lead doe but she turned and walked straight away from me when she hit my shooting lane. Lucky doe tonight

Howdy fellas! Had a good Harley trip over the weekend, 700 miles in about 24hrs, but, it’s time to focus on deer catching. Got the new cam mods in, need to get to bow shop to setup new bow. Still have the old Helim ready to go though. Have a busy week to get through, finally getting some rain, showing rain over opening weekend, if it's not crazy rain, I'll give it a go.
