Should be heading up to the camp Sunday evening to hunt Monday-Tuesday (maybe late Sunday). Hoping to pop a freezer queen

Feels great out this morning! To bad I'm on the way to the office

I'm hopeful the cooler weather will help get out deer up on their feet. Holiday weekend coming up too...

40 something degrees and I'm sitting in car in parking garage checking the live from stand and team 15 boards before building the courage to get out of car

This buck is killable. I’m narrowing down his area again since he broke from bachelor group. This weekend I’ll will find his bed

New arrows are here, 550gr of hate. The difference in weight is crazy. Got my sights adjusted, damn near blew through my Block target.

Also, wife’s grandfather passed this morning, so my hunting schedule is going to be off this week. No need for consolation, just need to check that block so I can get back to the woods. If you knew all the backstory, you’d understand my sentiment on the matter.

Going in this afternoon was like walking on corn flakes! No avoiding it as dry as it's been around here lately. Did see three deer though. One I couldn't identify, and two yearlings that ran right up to my blind within 15 feet and stared at me for like 5 mins, literally. They couldn't figure out what I was since I was sitting on the ground and hardly moving. I got great video of them.

50 points last night from a grocery run. I am pretty tolerant when I get busted, because it means my setup wasn't ideal and its my own fault. However, when a doe sits behind me and blows for 5 minutes, toleration goes out the window.

I used to shoot Magnus heads, still have them and normally have 1 in the quiver but hasn't used one on a deer in a couple years.
I have the Stinger 4 blade buzzcuts

we're currently tied for 7th place with 100 points....
at this stage any respectable buck would rocket us up into 2nd or 3rd so long as all the other teams get skunked

I’m shooting a mature doe at least when I come back this weekend.

All setup, did not account for the guy building house across creek. But I’m already here, I’m not moving. Fingers crossed the big fellas move to eat soon.

Everyone on the team shooting a doe is the key to winning the contest. That is 450 points. Assume 4 of us kill bucks, averaging 110" we're over 900 points
