Anyone of you guys been on a bear hunt in Maine? Me and my buddy are booking one for 2025 through a outfitter. Been wanting to go but never could get anyone to go with me but finally talked my buddy into it. 24 hour drive from Indiana to the lodge.

Fall, I don't know if they have a spring season? I wanted to go next year but my fiance already booked a vacation for next year. So decided to wait until 2025 so I can save up for it. Heard Maine is beautiful, I have been PA, thats the farthest East I have been. Just curious on what to expect. I went on a bear hunt in Virginia like 6 years ago or so. Was in the mountains, only saw a cub the whole trip but was worth it. From experience and what I have read and heard, its hard to hunt bears only if you hunt them over bait or with hounds.
I would assume that with most outfits, it will be over bait. Lots of pine trees and bugs. The coast is beautiful. If near coast, definitely hit up local restaurants and get a lobster. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk

Sorry was busy this evening. Was able to check cameras. A lot of does and my two main shooter’s disappeared but i know one will show back up in the middle of September like he usually does. I did get one buck that i think i have a pic of last year. He is decent. Think 3 1/2 not for sure. Also have this 6 point that i hope he makes it til next year and hope he stays a 6.
