@Holt I see you use Sitka gear, is it worth it? My fiance gave me the go ahead on all new hunting camo/gear for christmas so trying to decide.
Anyone else on the team use Sitka also? I have done a bunch of research on Sitka and couple other brands also. Leaning towards Sitka but not dead set on it yet.
I don't know if worth the cost if your paying full price. All of mine was bought back in 2016-17 Era. I have a friend who works for Gore and they would get insider deals. At the time all my Sitka gear was bought at 60 - 70 percent off. So at that price I would say it's worth it. I love my Fanatic bibs and jacket. Dang, I would of bought some too for that discounted price! lol Thats my only issue is the price. My deer processor always made fun of people spending thousands on camo and one of our buddies ended up buying him a sitka jacket and now he has a full set of sitka gear. lol He said he has never been cold in his sitka gear. So I'm just on the fence, I keep telling myself buy once cry once. lol I was hoping they would have a sale soon.
Yeah, it was crazy discount. I live in same town as Gore, the company that makes all the water and wind proof stuff for just about every company. Almost all my stuff was 70% off. It was a employee program were Sitka came here and allowed a employee to bring 1 friend. They had a presentation, then after we could buy any thing we wanted after. Think I bought 6 or 7 pieces. I looked into first lite too, everything is just expensive lol but whats not in this world anymore. I'm hoping Sitka will have a sell soon but I'm in no rush. Have until next season to get new camo. Just was surprised the fiance was like sure go ahead. lol When I'm already buying a new bow in the next couple months.
