    Been getting easy chances at small bucks most days. Just been unlucky crossing paths with bigger bucks I guess. I have one decent funnel place I haven't hunted yet. I'll be there a lot from now on.

    Took this morning off. Have some chores to get done. I'll be out this afternoon.

    Double for the night! Both were shot at almost the same spot at 11 yards. And both double lunged and ran about 50 yards and crashed in the field. What a great night! One at 4:00 or so and the other was shot with about 2 minutes of legal light. Close call! Also had a decent 8 pt out to his ears come in. 20231107_174854.jpg 20231107_180423.jpg

    Team, so sorry about not reading the rules or Justin’s GroupMe message careful enough. My only excuse is that these are different rules than other contests I’ve done, and I didn’t read them carefully enough. I will get a doe replacement before the contest is up. (We already butchered that doe last night).
