Typically, I have gotten a shot at a decent buck the last week of October/first week of November. I'm hoping they get the corn out this weekend, so I can access more of the property and do more scouting.
I’m planning to be out Fri night and Sat. Weather could be interesting (rain). But looks like a 10deg temp drop. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sunday I’ll probably have an evening sit in me. Need to go in and sit my stand on the field edge that just got picked with the north wind I’m staying out of the woods. Probably taking a kid out for youth season for ducks Sunday morning after all the rain moves through Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
It's Friday fellas! The weekend is almost apon us, time for one of us to lay down a buck this weekend! Got about 4 hours of work then I'm off to go hunting! Good luck guys. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
Forecast is wind and rain today. It's not nice out. When the wind and rain stops I'll be hunting. Good luck to the team hunting!
Same here. Well, also had 10 hen turkeys saunter by. And I was drawing on a huge coyote at 25yds when he caught my movement. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I can't seem to shake these little bucks. I think this wa a 7th or 8th little guy I have passed. Still just want to get eyes on a shooter. Did get some Intel on a potential giant buck. Was seen on one of the public spots I hunt this past week. Time to see if I can locate him. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
My plan is to go out Sunday morning, with the 5 year old. This goofy N wind is perfect for my new blind on the acorn flat.
Nothing so far. Thought the deer would be moving good since it rained almost all night Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
I’m trying not to burn all of my hunting opportunities early. My wife gets more and more skeptical as the season rolls on. Will have a couple more sits before gun season (mostly centered around rutting activity) and then late season in December and January Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
My 12yo son passed his hunter safety so gun season will be all about him putting his first deer down. Contest be damned I’d rather have that than a 150 Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Hopefully you and your son both shoot big bucks this year! Or atleast him kill his first deer! Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
