I'll be out Sat. and Sun. afternoons, unless weather is bad. Usually I don't hunt mornings till last week of Oct. I have one food plot deer are still hitting. Nothing big, but good place to shoot a doe. Plot is around 200x50 yards, wondering how many deer are using it.

Oh yeah. Finally have north winds and it dropped from 95 last week to 75 as a high today. Deer are moving! We haven't had a north wind since season started and that's the predominant wind here. Sent from my SM-S901U using Tapatalk
We usually don't have too many days of North winds and thats my favorite for majority of my stands and West winds are good too. Checking cameras today and won't check them again until season starts. I'm hoping this wide tall brow tine 10 shows back up. He showed up about this time last year and only had one encounter with him last year in the stand.

D No,46 th anniversary, kids and grandkids will be here all day. Even if they leave early I'll be to stuffed with food to go hunting lol. I'll be hunting most evenings from now on. Nice to be retired I can hunt a lot. Good luck to team 15 hunting!
Went out and scouted the property I just got permission to yesterday. Only hung 2 stands and 2 cameras. Place looks promising. Hasn't been hunted in 5 years. He said I could also hunt his aunts property that butts up against his property but he said his Uncle sometimes hunts it during shotgun but hasn't hunted in the past year or two. Plus the landowner said he seen a droptine buck last year while farming so that got me real excited lol. Droptine buck is my dream buck, always wanted to kill a droptine buck.
Justin sounds like you found a great property to hunt. If there's a drop tine buck around you have good chance to get him.
