Shot some broadheads tonight and they are hitting right with my field points. Love this new bow, it was the easiest bow I ever setup. My confidence is at a all time high. My season starts in less then 2 weeks. Plan to take off opening day to hunt. There may be a chance I take off the whole first week. Picked up a new property this year that I'm really excited about. Weird year for me not running cameras this year. There was a big gas line project that cut through one part of the main farm I hunt so I decided to not even go in and trim trees this year. That farm tends to be better when I just leave it alone anyway. That’s where I shot my buck last year on October 14th and I treated it the same was as this year. I did get access to 4 other really nice farms in big buck country but I only got access on weekdays there. Kinda hard when I’m a teacher lol. So I’ll see what I can do on those farms! I got 2 that I recognize from 2-3 years of history with. Hoping to arrow one of them. Also have one buck that hasn’t showed up yet on camera that i picked up one of his sheds this year. For those who don't know me, my name is Josh. I hunt small properties in the Cincinnati suburbs. Fishing, gardening and kids sports have eaten into my hunting prep time this year, but I promise to give it my all when season starts.
Checking in from Wis. Good number of deer on cameras, nothing big so far. Hoping this one from last year shows up. I had a great time hunting him last year, had him at 15 yards a couple times early season without getting a shot and missed him at 40 yards during the rut. Sometimes the deer win. Season starts Sept. 16 in Wis. Wishing everyone on the team a safe and successful season.

Little bit about myself. I'm Justin from West Central Indiana. Work in the treasurer's office in our little county for 5 years now. I'm obsessed with bowhunting and bows in general. lol Our season doesn't start until Oct. 1st here. I hunt about 70 acre farm but just picked up about 70-100 acre place last week. Going to try and get out there in a week or so to put out cameras and scout. Been shooting my phase 4 a lot lately and pretty dialed in. I'm usually pretty active on here and try to keep everyone updated and check in with everyone. Wish everyone good luck and a successful season this year!
