Hey Okie, I know it sounds like a stupid question but do you know how many tags come with a youth archery deer license?
So Tuesday I did slip out of work a little early and had a great hunt. Saw 4 does and a little spike chasing the does around. I didn't have time to go out to my lease so I hunted in my neighbors back yard, it is a 5 acre piece of property that I mostly hunt does on. This property is 3 miles from my lease. I had a very nice surprise when I check my camera, the only buck I have been after on my lease has now shown up on my little 5 acre spot. He had disappeared from my cameras on my lease for the past 2 weeks and I was afraid some one had harvested him. I have been hunting this buck for 4 years now and may have my best chance at him if he stays in the neighbors back yard. The rut is just starting so I am feeling pretty good about getting a chance at him. For some reason this property holds a lot of does. I am going to go back out this afternoon!!
Well had a great hunt this afternoon. Rut is definitely starting, had a 5 point and a spike come in chasing does. I gave them a pass waiting on the buck I am after. I took tomorrow off so I can hunt the morning. My daughter has a out of town volleyball tournament this weekend so I need to get it done in the morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Caleb, I’m not sure about youth licenses. It’s been a long time since I had to purchase a license but it used to be where you have to buy a hunting license which would cover you all season and it covers rifle, muzzleloader, & archery seasons. You then would have to purchase separate tags for either a buck or doe for each season. You can harvest 2 bucks and 4 does total if my memory serves me right.

He was 4 1/2 by my trail camera and from what I could tell by his teeth. But that is still not for sure. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
