That sucks, never a good feeling. Did the right thing by backing out.

Hopefully, he bed very few times and wasn't bumped by others and you can find him near the last sighting.

It sucks Dutch. I did that to the buck I shot. He died the night I shot him, but we didn't find him for 2 days. He was in the creek.
    Good Luck. Be patient.

You did the right thing in backing out and not pushing him. Praying you find him in the morning. Not a good feeling but hopefully the outcome will be positive. Hoping for the best!

I'm trying to figure out why the fan on the furnace won't blow. Works fine on the A/C side..............

Dad found the first dead head of the season this morning not sure what happened. He was a 4 year old with good potential to blow up next year oh well. He was nicknamed Daggers he ran with captain Hooks the past two years at least we found him. Would have love for my dad to have punched a tag on him though.

Lost blood after 100 yards or so. Grid searched all day. Walked 6 miles back and forth. I think I looked over 100 deer beds. Nothing! I will go back tomorrow for a while. Start looking for magpies. I found white hair so probably low gut shot. Not a lot of blood. This is the hardest part of this sport.

Sorry Dutch...I feel for ya brother! Still some season left though, maybe you’ll get another chance.

I’m headed out for an evening hunt. First time in a tree in over 2 Weeks! Feels like it could be a great evening. Temps in the 40s, almost no wind, cloudy and it’s even drizzled a time or two today.

Congratulations Kyle. I had no luck finding the buck. I pray he survived. I will be back at it tomorrow. Supposed to have some weather moving in. Don’t count me out yet. Thanks guys and good luck out there.

Sorry to hear Dutch, did you find any new sign at all yesterday, or were you just grid searching?
