It's fine man. I've been beat up over the years by kids my age, so that wasn't even close to harsh.

Yesterday morning I purposely waited until 9 am to get in the woods. I saw more mature bucks than I have all season. I also pay attention to the solunar table, quite a bit. If it hadn't been so warm and Thanksgiving, I would've gone mid-day.

I don't think the solunar table has any effect on this spot because they make a big circle from here back to thier "sanctuary" the golf course and it depends on where they are. They normally stick around here for 1-2 days so I'm hoping today is the 2nd day. I might have to try that tactic, sounds like it works pretty good.

It probably does work better in those areas. Speaking of the orange army I haven't seen any other hunters today.

Happy Thanksgiving guys! Hope everybody had a relaxing day with loved ones. I’ve got family in for the rest of the weekend so no hunting for me until probably Sunday evening. Stay after it boys, we need some deer to hit the ground! Feels like forever since our team put one down. Mostly talking to myself since I haven’t been any help yet, lol

Sat yesterday evening at my family's farm in Florida. Saw a 4pt and 7 does, had a doe bust me and they all took off. Rained all day today, going back in the am, hopefully have some points in the morning.

Add one to the score boys. I'll get him measured up and on the score sheet soon. He's not much, but-every little bit helps. IMG_1591.JPG

You might look it up short, but I think the mass measurement stays the same on the last couple places, instead of decreasing, if the deer don't have a G3.

Yep, right side you will have 2 at smallest point between burr and G2, smallest point between G2 and G3 and mid G3 and tip will be the same for final measurement.

Left side you will have 2 at smallest point between burr and G2 and 2 measurements all the same midway from centerline of G2 and tip of beam.

This is the way you do it when no G1's are present such as yours.
