I found out how hard it is to setup 15 feet of climbing sticks and 2 tree stands lol! I hunted yesterday afternoon with a friend on public land but we didn't see anything. Yesterday he saw a real nice 8pt on public land where I've been hunting. I'll be headed out to a farm around 9:00 to see if I can get permission to hunt it so wish me luck! The ladie that knows the landowner has told me that it's never been hunted and she'll only let you bowhunt out there! Hopefully I can get permission to hunt it!
I'm out here scouting out some private land. I lost a part to my stabilizer and there's no sign of deer. Today just isn't my lucky day.
Never mind! I was able to find a little pond! And I had 30 sheep infront of me! But the scary thing is with these sheep, they have horns lol!
Find any sign around the pond? Or are you sheep hunting now? Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Well la de da...I decided to go elk hunting today. So far all I've seen are a couple 360's and 380's. nothing big. Damn youtube search engine.
You could go fly a kite, and end up in St. Louis pretty quick! Sent from my SM-N900V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
We were "chatting" over on Team 3's page. We had to get out of there. All their "repeat champ" talk was depressing me. Sent from my SM-N900V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
No, waiting until after noon to start cutting beans. We had a half inch of rain a couple days ago that stopped me and they were too tough this morning. Forecast looks good, hopefully I'll finish up this week.
We didn't get that 1/2". In reality, it's pretty dry here. Good Luck getting finished. Sent from my SM-N900V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Thanks! First buck I killed with a bow from 2 years ago. Sure would be nice if I could put another buck down of that caliber this year especially with Team 3 tearing it up... another 150 points sure would help!
I was close last night. Just not close enough. I won’t be back after it until Sunday. I keep seeing him and I’m the only one hunting there so hopefully another hot doe doesn’t drag him away. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Another. A decent mule deer. Houdini vanishes every year. Nobody sees him until spring. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
