@Fitz keep an eye on this guy, think he might be trying to start up a hunting show off the back of BHOD and this forum.

Should probably disqualify the team, could be a poaching cell.....

Sorry for disappearing for a while. Back at it and will be getting a couple sits in over the weekend. Great trip to Montana with my son. He shot his first deer.

Yesterday was a long day so I never made it out hunting. The guy that owns the 5 acres I'm hunting decided to give me 2 more days to hunt because he'll be busy all weekend! He said I could use gun or bow out there but I've decided to keep it up with the bow. Today should be a really good day because all the gun hunters will be pushing the deer my way!

Good luck to anyone that's going out today!

Man, you weren’t kidding about team 3 FP! They are on freaking fire. That buck Chago killed is unbeleavable. Might be the biggest buck taken on the forum this year.

We’re still in good shape though. At this point it’s more about quantity for us. If we can get 2 more pretty good bucks and a few does than we have a good chance I think.
    Stay after it boys!!

I just got out of the woods. Didn't see any deer. But I heard plenty of gun shots. Tonight and tomorrow should be pretty good for deer movement!

Would it be ok with you guys if I took my gun out? Because I only have 1 chance to job shadow with a really good taxidermist before I move but I haven't been able to get a buck within bow range.

Go for it...as long as you take a pic with your bow when you kill a big buck...lol

Only kidding of course. Seriously though Caleb, if you want to take the smoke pole then go for it. Nobody here is going to think any less of ya I guarantee you that. You’ve put in the time bud, you deserve to get a deer whether it’s with a rifle or bow.

Don't worry man. Get one down before you move, if it's with a bow great! If it's a rifle than great!

No darn deer. Deer are the stupidest animal in the world.

Edit: I'm joking lol. I had orange soldiers on each side of the trail the deer would come from so I probably wouldn't get a chance to shoot before one of them did.

I saw the same buck three times today. Never close enough. Three different spots as well. We must be on the same page.
