I'm just playing, although I'd be a liar if I said it didn't cross my mind. I have a mature doe bedding down 50 yards away. She is on high alert and is very hesitant to come closer. She saw me climb my ladder this morning. She can't pick me out but she is constantly watching my tree. Her fawns don't have the slightest clue though hoping she will edge a little closer Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums

I'm going to pretend that you didn't just ask that question...lol You've got less than a week left to kill a deer before you move, the rut is in full swing, and you watched 2 shooters chasing does this morning from your stand... Just giving you crap but Seems like a no brainer to me buddy but I can understand wanting to duck hunt and spend time with your friends before you move.
I just came back in, the fawns finally moved off of me. Getting warmed up, might head back out tonight. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Here he is, the second picture shows the wound. It is pretty nasty, but I don't think it's an arrow. There isn't any exit wound and I saw no arrow shaft sticking out. A hit Iike that would have probably killed him so I am chalking it up to another buck. I am sure he will live as long as it doesn't get infected... he has had a rough year lol Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
nope, We walked the entire property he was headed in and no sign of him nor anymore blood. the shot was very low, so We are pretty sure he will live to die another day. Saw a nice one yesterday afternoon but, to far for a shot and had to watch him walk off.
Sorry to hear that, short. I'll be out again tomorrow on a property inside city limits, so I won't have to worry about the orange army. Sent from my SM-G930V using Bowhunting.com Forums mobile app
Yeah, like I said I am pretty sure he got injured while fighting. I know that isnt where I hit him, and I doubt he would have lived if someone else shot him there. I could see the wound much better than what the pic looks like. It looked circular not like a broadhead, although its a pretty nasty wound for just an antler poke. If it was another buck than he really got him good.
