I've got does in the corn field! But they won't come into my grunts. Had a doe at 10 but she was across the fence
Getting a doe to come in to a grunt call is probably not going to happen. Maybe a fawn bleet as a last resort but most of the time you are going to be better off just staying quiet and hoping they will come by you. The bucks will often times respond to calls during pre-rut and rut because they are looking for the ladies and wanting to breed, but until a doe comes into estrus and is ready to be bred she is often times going to try and avoid a grunting/rutting buck... just my 2 cents Good luck out there!
Did'nt shoot any deer. I had several shots but like I said they were across the fence. I'm going duck hunting again tonight and I'm going to try and sit tomorrow morning. I'll setup right where the does are crossing the fence. I should have 50pts tommorrow morning for the team!

I've been putting some numbers together. It looks like, with the buck cls just shot, they will pass is when the new scoring update comes out. That's if nothing changes between now and then.
Have any of you guys paid attention to how often Fitz updates the scorecard? I was just curious if he did it routinely, like every other week or if it was a random thing. I guess I am a little anxious to see how we stand. Edit: That's okay Foodplot, it isn't much fun if there is no competition now is it? what is our current standing? close to 900? Win or lose we are having an awesome run right now. I hope you find your deer short, and not just because of some dumb contest either. Keep us posted on how your search went today.
Yep lol! My dad thought the shot gun was worth it! I'm starting out with $44 to start saving for the truck!
I figure if we can get about 250 more points, and break 1200 then we should be in real good shape. After all we have only put about 9 deer down right? everyone on the team can enter atleast one more, we are in real good position right now. Just gotta start stacking does, it seems like they are usually the difference maker.
I haven't checked any other teams I only checked them because cls said they were gaining on us. They put quite a few bucks down in the 10 days.
