I know I've, in the past, made deer nocturnal by being after them constantly. If you're still seeing day time movement, play the wind and go after them. I keep forgetting you're moving in the near future.

I haven't seen any deer during the day for a while.

Hey Okiearrowslinger, I was looking in the OK regs and couldn't find if it's legal or not to bait deer. Then I googled it and people are saying its legal. Do you have any idea if it legal or not?

It is 100% legal to bait in OK. Kind of like Texas, alot of people hunt over corn feeders. I've never been a fan of using deer feeders but it is nice to be able to dump a bag of corn on the ground in front of your trail cams to take an inventory of the deer in your area.

Pretty sure it is good nation wide. I took mine in Florida growing up and used the same card number to get my license in multiple states.

I know we had friends in from Utah. Their safety card was good here.

I've haven't had any encounters with him. I've had pretty constant pictures on camera in the past 2 weeks both night and day pictures. Nc, goes until the jan. 1st. Where I'm hunting is a section of about 2500 acres of archery only public land. Most people hunt early with the bow then leave after gun season, so I almost have it to myself.

I get it. I'm one of those crazy people that hunt just as hard after gun season. Ours gun season ends 2 days before Thanksgiving.
This is the earliest I've tagged out. We're only allowed to kill one buck before gun season. I can hunt during gun season with my bow. I'll be back after it this weekend. Going to try and get our oldest boy set up on a deer Saturday morning after his hockey game.
I still have 1 buck tag for gun season and 1 buck tag for archery season.
    Our season ends Jan. 15th.

Decided to go out! I'm headed to some public land I know the deer are out during daylight hours at. I actually grunted in a doe at this spot a couple weeks ago. I'll let you guys know when I get setup because I need to hurry up and get out there.
