Just passing this on...blackovis.com is having a flash sale on aerowool base layers by first lite. I just got the 1/2 zip top and bottoms for $123...40% off. It just started about 10min. ago.
Love the first light gear. My wife would kill me if I ordered anymore, even at 40% off. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
I setup my trail cam on that rub thats right off his trail! I made a scrape right next to his rub, and I made several other scrapes
I checked my camera that I set Saturday afternoon. Had almost 500 pics, and my number 1 was in front of my stand at 8am yesterday morning. Sometimes I hate hunting. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Gotta love it! I had a moment like that earlier this year, went in for the morning. And had pics of my buck on that afternoon Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
Afternoon all, like I said in the beginning, I'm not one to brag about trail cam pic's, but the one I've been after for the last 3 years has reappeared a month early. I know he wouldn't help our point total, other than being a bonus deer, but he is a true trophy!! This guy is amazing. Hopefully I can post some pic's of him after I get this deal sealed!!
I need help help with what tactics I should use with this new buck. Like how long shoud I sit , how often I should grunt and rattle, how long should I sit, ECT. Because I can't mess up with this buck and I might only have 3 more weeks here In wisconsin.
Best advice I have is only hunt the spot when the wind is right. Once they know your there it’s game over. Sent from my iPhone using Bowhunting.com Forums
If the wind is right and you can stand it, set all day, or as long as you can. Wind is the most important thing. If you rattle, try is softly at first. If you bang them hard the first time and a set is close, you might scare them away. Grunt softly at first. Try different things, see what works.
Lol, we are in the same boat my friend. My wife was less than excited when I told her about it. I simply chose the "ask forgiveness" option instead of the "ask permission" this time...
That's a dandy! Definitely a mature buck. Good luck getting after that brute!! Hope you get a chance at him!
