Going to take off early this afternoon and get after 1. We finally have a cold front and the wind for the first time this season is perfect for my stand where I have been getting pictures of my #1 buck. Cant wait to get off work.
Took my boy out with me yesterday evening. We threw up a ground blind and had a little 8pt come within about 20ft of the blind and go behind us. He wasn't a shooter anyways but it was neat for my son to see a buck that close. Starting to get more daytime pics on the cams... It's fixing to get good!!
Mornin' guys!! It is now COLD here. Going to try to get out this evening at our place for a short sit. Going to be out tomorrow morning at our place, then going to a place I've only hunted a couple of times. Our boys both have hockey Sunday morning, but I plan on being out Sunday evening. I drive 70 miles to work...drove up on the 25th and seen 2 deer hit on the interstate...just drove back home this morning and seen 16 hit on the interstate. Two that were BIG bodied with the heads cut off. Definitely starting to move in west ky.
I sat this morning at a stand I hung Saturday overlooking 2 scrapes. This morning there were 6 scrapes I could see from the stand. Saw a buck chasing a doe about 60 yards away. Couldn't tell what he was but looked like a decent buck. Going back out tomorrow. Sent from my SM-G900V using Tapatalk
Sat for a few hours Wednesday evening. The little Muley bucks were chasing and sparring. Fun time to be out. Had five in range. Waiting for Daddy. Should be soon. Will be out Sunday for sure. I believe I have a buck down. I marked where he was at when I shot. Just came back to the house to warm up a little and get a bite to eat. Gonna take our oldest one to go look in a little while. I'll keep ya guys posted.

JEEZ! I've missed a lot! Congrats FP! I've been hunting hard. finally got a pic on my trail cam! I know it's not much but it's the first deer I've ever gotten on trail cam. The time and date are off, the real time and date is the 24th around 7:00am. I'll be heading out to that spot in the morning for my first morning hunt at that spot! Keep us posted FP
