Just got back from hunting on some super nice private land! Yesterday I talked to a guy on facebook that lives 5 minuites away from me and he said I could hunt whatever I want whenever I want! He bowhunts but his schedule won't allow him to hunt. I hunted tonight with my friend megan but we did'nt see anything, but the wind was terrible and it was warm. I setup a trail cam because he has a couple of 10 points and a 12 point he missed last year out there. Hopefully I'll have some pics in a couple of days!

Anyone else hunting wisco tomorrow? Cold front and rain arriving is going to put me 20' up in Milwaukee county tomorrow morning. May hunt Iowa county tomorrow night if the conditions are right. Still new bucks showing up daily so my hopes are high.

Yes it did indeed. Beans have been good so far. Needed a month of dry weather.

I'm not a fan of the scent away stuff. Never worked when I sprayed it in my shoes. I use a bee smoker and smoke my clothes and pack in a tote before I go out.

Our wood burning stove does our clothes. I leave mine hang outside all season.

I used Pantene ProV shampoo, Irish Spring soap, Old Spice Wolfthorn body spray and deodorant....oh, and about a half can of Deep Woods Off the day I shot my buck.

I use it sometimes. I rely on the wind moreover than anything. I figure it it buys me a few seconds it’s worth 10 bucks a season.

Thank you guys for the responses! The friend that I had up hunting suggested I buy some scent killer laundry detergent. I was talking to my parents about it this morning and they said I should ask you guys about it. I'll think about buying some of it to see If it works.

I use dead down wind on my clothes every once in a while, but I can smell the product itself and I know the deer can smell it. I just figure it's better then sweat and our pet dog.

I doubt it makes a difference

I'll wash my hunting clothes in scent free detergent and then put them in a duffle bag with one of the wafers that smells like dirt. I use dead downwind to spray on my boots and backpack before I walk to the stand. I don't think there is a big difference which product you use but the way I see it, if it helps some than it's worth the effort... As Dutch said, hunting with the right wind is the real key IMO.
