1st sit of the year. Been in the 40's and 50's all week and today its 65. Supposed to be 70's all weekend. Swirling winds about 15-20mph. Probably not the best

Had 3 small bucks and a coyote come by my stand last night. 1st coyote I've seen in about 3 years on that property. Moving to fast to get a shot on him. Happy with 1st sit.

Didn't hunt at all this weekend. between the temperatures and swirling wind, I chose to stay out of my spot. Spent all weekend getting things ready for my hunt. A week from Wednesday, I'll be at camp watching some giants feed close to me. I'm ready for this cold front, I think I might try a risky sit Tuesday evening.
I've got new bucks showing up on camera nearly everyday now. Hopefully I can meet up with one of them. By now I usually have several slammers in ohio on camera. I’m in the blind this evening. It rained all morning and is supposed to rain again close to sunset. The rain brought some cooler temps so hopefully they will be on their feet. I’m on the clock as far as killing a deer this season. I’m having neck surgery Nov. 8 so my season will likely be over with after that. Got 2+ weeks to get it done!
