Yes sir I do. Thanks for asking. I've learned when it comes to crossbows, a backup is absolutely necessary

The best thing I’ve found to do solo is just take a selfie or put your iPhone on video and just grab screen shots from the vid. That eliminates the need for the timer.

I agree! Hopefully next year they’ll only require 1 photo. I never understood the need for 2 different poses of the same deer.

    This mornings scorecard:
Deer-1 (saw nothing of the species)
Squirrels-1 (missed by the hair of his chinny chin chin)
Greg-0 (guess I stink or something)

Let’s hope to a better evening. It’s in the low to mid 80’s, mosquitoes are out and feeding. Have a decent breeze but can’t feel it because I’m in a blind. Good luck to those that are out this evening.

I just had my target buck walk past me. Didn’t come close enough for the ol recurve but he’s freaking big!

Good luck out there guys! No hunting for me this weekend. Coaching my 9yr old sons baseball team and we are playing in a tournament the next two weekends.

Seen 6 different bucks this evening. The first one being my target 4x4. Shortly later two other bucks showed up but never came close enough to even get a good look. And right before dark the big 5x3 was 8 yards from me. It was very hard to pass him up and I may not be able to next time. I’ll post a short video on here in a day or two. It was one heck of an evening.

He’s 12. He’s killed a bunch of deer with his 243 but this was a first with a bow. We bought him a new Mathews for Christmas and he shoots that thing lights out.

It was very hard lol! I don’t think I can do it again. The only reason is because I seen the one I’m after just an hour before that so I had hope that he would move back through.
