I rely on the meat and does I pretty much have unlimited tags. I think in MD I have enough tags for over 45 deer every year! Haha.

Last year I burned one of my buck tags on a 2 1/2 for meat only. I put in the same effort as a doe , but got 50 percent more meat. I may be doing that again this year. I usually try and let young ones grow, but doesn't make sense when I need to fill the freezer.

Those look nice! I love trying different broadheads out. Never used them before. You will have to test them out on a couple deer and let's us know what you think.

That's a lot of deer! We get 6 a year here plus another one or two for holiday harvest. My son, wife, and myself all have lifetime license so we could kill 18 if we really wanted to.

i switched to these after my buck last last year. was shooting 150grain vpa 3 blades. terrible blood trail on a double lung shot. deer went 75/100 yards but nothing for blood. shot another buck with these last year and it was night and day difference. but they’re stupid expensive. $100 for 3

Holy crap that’s expensive. That company must be owned by Sitka or Dyson.

A little later than usual, but I finally got a couple of cameras out yesterday. Looking forward to see what bucks are hanging around and how some of the younger guys have improved in a years time. I absolutely love my reveal cell cams but man, I am much less productive at work. Feels like I’m pulling up the app to check pics once an hour! Lol

Luckily for now I haven't bought a cell cam. I can only imagine the anticipation is bad! Haha

Dang Homie! I've only got 3 cell cams. I couldn't afford to run 15.

Dang man, that's alot of cameras to manage. That's almost a full time job in its self. I keep telling my self to keep a cam on me while I hunt. That way if I find hot sign, I can throw it up. But I can't stand bring extra stuff with me while I hunt. It's funny how we change thru our hunting career.

Ordered a new sight to try and picked the wrong one. Was wanting another single pin. I may try the moveable 3 pin that came.

Are the pins removable? My next sight might be a 2 pin slider.

I’m not sure. It’s safe to say without YouTube I couldn’t have sighted this thing in. It’s pretty crazy. 20-30-40 are set and the 40 is my slider. [IMG]

I will be back on stand in the morning. Have yet to lay eyes on any buck, let alone a shooter. Going to hunt then scout and look for buck sign. The property I'm going to has many thick bedding areas and I just need to bounce around and find a buck.

Anyone's season start tomorrow? Think a few states open tomorrow.

Hunted the morning and saw nothing. Did a little scouting after and didn't find much maybe one set of fresh tracks. I did find alot of hunter sign, which make sense for lack of deer. On to the next property. Think tomorrow I will taking my longbow for the first hunt of the season. Was shooting it again tonight and was drilling the target!

How did you do? We went and hung a few stands and cameras this morning. It’s way to hot out.
