Was gonna work on finishing up a new stand location,BUT in true MO fashion it is mid 90s and high humidity. There are other factors keeping me from it as well so it can wait. I should have some pics tomorrow on food plot progress tho.

Dudes. Fellas. I'm struggling with this waiting... I need my tree stand therapy. In the mean time you all need to be my commenting, pic posting, joke telling, bow talking, key board junkies for Pete's sake.

I was out yesterday morning and saw 3 does and a spike. No shot opportunities though. Won’t be back out for about a week though. Working this week and camping over Labor Day weekend.

Freakin bucks are pissing me off. We’ve had great temps for us lately and they’re still almost all nocturnal. Although I did set up a buddies blind on the property as well as mine so maybe a good chance to get the nice 4x4 since I’ve got the most pics of him in that area. I think I’m gonna name him 2 Weeks cause it seems like once every 2 weeks he shows up. Oh well I’ll keep ya posted gents and hopefully my luck will change.

Anybody got special plans for the long weekend coming up? We're gonna be camping at an RV campground about an hour and a half away. Great place with good accommodations but still on dirt so you feel like you're actually camping and not in a 30 foot travel trailer. Bunch of friends going too so the bonfire will be big and the beer will be cold! Some decent crawfish in the river that's in walking distance too so looking forward to setting the traps out having something to snack on while dinner is cooking at least one night. Coming back on Monday and then I have the rest of the week off too so back to the hunting!

My plans next weekend are to work on stand placement in the new spot I have this year. Kill plot is looking good since I planted last week. I have high hopes for that spot. No deer on camera there but there are acres of beans adjacent so the deer have no reason to be in there yet. 20180826_162711.jpg

Going to Sanibel, FL w/ the girlfriend and some of her friends. Then it's a weekend at home before hitting the road for Colorado!

Just got back from my vacation up north to see the daughter and SIL. Had a great time, but fishing plans on Green Bay got canceled due to high winds (6-9ft waves).

Next weekend I'll be finishing up checking treestand straps an trimming shooting lanes if needed... Gonna get here fast now boys!

I expect to start seeing hard horn in the next couple of weeks around here. Looking forward to card pulls coming up...

Looks like "Stiff Shafts" gets the vote for team name. Thanks for making the avatar logos Bone Head! I like the first logo the best so if everyone agrees to that you can copy the image above and edit your avatar if desired. I'm already gonna do it. It's happening. Yep. Done!

Ridge send a message to the admin so they can change the thread title to include our name and make it official.
